Here I am having another week end at home. No work I have to do. Just a bit of DIY or gardening if I feel like it.

I should do something community oriented. For my own good. I'm lucky that I meet lots of people at work. I like that. Then, when I'm not at work I spend the rest of my time with my adorable wife. However, my social life doesn't extend hugely beyond this.

This is where I am envious of religious people. They get together at the weekends and socialize and do things for their communities and so on. If I was a better person, more sociable and more comfortable around other people - I think I'd be out there holding the flag for atheists with a strong community spirit!
